Some Finishes!

Hi All

Here are some finishes I have been doing inthe last few weeks. Some of them were for my friends charity stall (thanks Lorna who donated some), some are for the people I work with, some were for my wonderful on-line stitching friends (who I couldn't live without) and some were for family.
As all these are now completed, all I have to do is make-up the Lizzie Kate 12 Days of Christmas Blessings which I stitched way back in January this year ready to hand on my ornie tree. Then I shall sort out my fabric and Crescent Colour threads for the Travelling Stitcher SAL starting in January, together with the LHN Ornies SAL. Then once that is done I am going to make a start this week hopefully on the Country Cottage Needlecrafts 'My Beloved' which I bought from Harrogate.

Just found another chart to go on my wish list for Santa! Its by The Sampler Girl from one of her Jane Austen inspired charts called Good Tidings (its just wonderful).

Blessings to all - Love Michelle x

My Bigger Man!

Hi All
Had to share this recent school photo of my other Son Matt - he was 15 on Wednesday (although he hates this picture). So proud of him - he's not your typical teenager - he's fab.

Keep warm everyone.

Bruce's New Kitchen!

Hi All

Here is my little man in his new Kitchen we have got him for Christmas. Hard to hide so we told him that Santa had bought it early because it was so heavy! He loves it.
Guess who has to sit on the floor and be fed all sorts of plastic food! Oh the joys.

My bigger man was 15 yesterday too - where does time go.

Hope everyone is keeping warm - just seen the forecast for Saturday - SNOW!

What A Surprise !

Hi All

Well what a Surprise I had this morning. Andy woke me with the alarm and told me I was off to the Harrogate Stitching Show! It was a total shock to me - I was soon up, washed, dressed, sorted out Bruce and we were on out way giddy with excitement. Kath and hubby Andy had been keeping it quiet (again!). Bless them both. It was wonderful seeing Kath, Christine and Bev again. A real special few hours. I loved every moment of it and bought some lovely items as you can see. A couple of County Cottage Needlwork designs called Rose Cottage and My Beloved, some new pins, loads of evenweave!, Count Your Blessings Chart and a JBW Design called Noel which is stunning and a couple of Trudy Anne Design kits, my favoute one being a sampler 'Stitching' Buttons us Together! Also picked up some African fabric. Was hoping to pick up a couple of The Sampler Girl (Jane Austen) charts but couldn't see any.

I can't wait to start stitching now this evening.

Thanks girls (and Andy) for a lovely day.

Just Got Home ....

I had a wonderful night. The Stylistics were fantastic. One of them blew me a kiss and patted his heart - bless him. Really enjoyed it.
Off to Bedfordshire now - night night.

So Excited ...

Hi All

Off out this evening to see ... The Stylistics. Some of you may have heard of them. I love them. Going with a group of ladies from Cross Stitch Club. I can't wait. Having a meal before the show too.

Horrible weather here today. Hope everyone is keeping well and dry!

(Oh and I was gutted that Jamie is off the x-factor - whats wrong with this show lately? Hope Ollie wins now but I won't be watching it again after this series - thinks its all a bit of a joke now).

My Wonderful Step Ma-In-Law from South Africa

Hi All

Look at this lovely stocking that my wonderful step ma-in-law who lives in South Africa stitched for Bruce. I adore it and its filled with some goodies. She is such a lovely person and means the world to us.

Hope everyone is ok. Bruce is a little hard work at the moment - a mix of terrible twos and tantrums. Oh yes they have arrived and of course his talking is really coming on now. The other evening when it was time to go to bed - Bruce's reply with crossed arms was "I don't want to'. Hey ho! I expect we have this for the next 16 years. My other son Matt was such a different child. He never really had the terrible two's. They do say if you have the second one first, you may never have another! He's so funny though when he starts - I have to look away as I want to laugh!

Busy stitching the last of my christmas ornaments for gifts - then I can start thinking about the SAL's in 2010 I have signed up for. Going to send all my Christmas gifts out in the next couple of weeks just in case the post office decide to strike again. Have decided I am going to start stitching one of my many African lady kits over Christmas.

Love to all Michelle x
